For What Works Today

Our mission is to help small businesses maximise their digital presence and traffic, for the purpose of generating a tangible increase in sales.

Driven to help the people left behind by traditional marketing agencies and fuelled by the unique perspectives of neurodivergence, we are constantly learning and sharing what we’ve discovered. Good marketing can and should be accessible, and we seek to make that a reality for our clients.

With services ranging in price and coverage, we seek to make a difference everywhere we work, in whatever stage of growth that business is in.

  • Long-time friends with a radically different, yet markedly similar way of thinking, our entrance into marketing came rather unexpectedly. As we grew familiar with modern technology that can massively boost productivity, we became confident that marketing for small businesses - which is largely overpriced and ineffective - did not have to be either.

With little to lose, unique patterns of problem solving, and motivation in spades, we got to work.

    Our Full Story

  • Our focus has always been on ‘comprehensive marketing’; the idea that your marketing strategy should be greater than the sum of its parts.

Integrating website design and UX improvements with SEO and Google My Business optimisation, alongside social media management (although we feel social media is overemphasised by modern small businesses), paid advertising through Meta and Google, photography/ videography services to level up your customer-facing profile across various platforms, and utilising direct marketing / CRM to make the most out of existing and acquired contacts, we firmly believe that comprehensive marketing can be accessible to small businesses, without sacrificing efficacy.

As such, we offer various packages with options to suit various budgets and needs, but always encourage our clients to utilise all the tools at their disposal and avoid focusing too narrowly on one medium.

  • We offer packages with predefined base costs (factors like large websites, complex businesses, or multiple locations can increase fees). You can learn more about them here.

For individual requirements, such as a one-off website redevelopment, SEO overhaul, paid advertising campaign or content generation, the pricing is largely dependent on your specific needs and expectations. We maintain committed to affordability, and you can contact us with requests here.

Director - Purple Rain Cafe

“Working with The Small Business Agency was a transformative experience for Purple Rain Cafe. In just our first month together, they increased our month-to-month revenue by an impressive 20% and significantly boosted our brand visibility through strategic social media and ad creation. Their innovative approach and dedication were evident from day one. Though our collaboration was brief, the results they delivered were outstanding, especially considering it was their inaugural project. I highly recommend The Small Business Agency for any business looking to elevate their marketing efforts.”

Jamala Wildlife Lodge has greatly benefited from the consulting services provided by The Small Business Agency. They have guided us in executing Google Ads in-house, and as a result, we have seen more trackable conversions than when our ads were previously outsourced. Their expertise has empowered our team, making our marketing efforts more effective and allowing us to better measure our success. We appreciate the ongoing support and look forward to our continued collaboration.

Director, To All My Friends & Little Oink

“We brought The Small Business Agency in when we wanted a change with our social media, and they quickly brought our new vision to life. Since then, they’ve continued to grow our social presence, run profitable paid ads, and make ongoing improvements to our website that have opened us up to much more of the market share. They’ve also helped us organise several highly successful events. When we started, we were focused on improving our socials, but now we understand where the real value in marketing lies. TSBA have opened the door to marketing avenues that are well above industry standard.”

  • Organic Social Media: Great for Likes, Terrible for Sales

When people scroll on social media, they are looking for entertainment, not for advertisement. Successful videos are entertaining ones, and even they won’t guarantee money in your pocket. So where does the value lie?

  • You Should Probably Check Your Keyword Rankings

Google generates more sales for small businesses than Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok combined. Are you treating it with the importance it deserves, and do you know which businesses are dominating your local niche?

  • Why Paid Advertising is Still Your Best Tool for New Traffic

Paid advertising is under-utilised by small businesses due to perceived cost and complexity; but today, effective paid advertising is more accessible than ever, and it can be the competitive edge you need.
